Calla Whipp
Marketing Director & Assistant Manager

Calla is from Clarinda, IA, a small town in the Southwest corner of the state. She attended Drake University and holds degrees in Marketing and Music Business. Calla began climbing in January of 2011 and was hooked from day one. She has always enjoyed sports of all types, and climbing has easily made it to the top of the list. Calla loves to ride and show horses, plays the piano and clarinet, and stays as active as possible. She also enjoys teaching, and teaches piano lessons, step aerobics, co-coaches Roosevelt High School's Colorguard and Winterguard, and conducts a youth bell choir. In her spare time, she likes to climb, run, read or play piano, and is always searching for new adventures and learning new things.

What was the best piece of advice someone gave you about climbing? “Keep your arms straight.” Thank you, Aaron. :)
