Never been to Climb Iowa before.  We have a couple of different options to get you on the wall depending on your experience level and what you would like to learn?  If these do not answer your questions check out our FAQ page.

1st

Everyone needs a waiver in order to climb.  If the climber is under 18 then they MUST have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.  You can print off a waiver by Clicking Here.

Climbers between the ages of 4 and 13 must have a person 14 or older with them at all times in the gym.

2nd

Do you know how to Belay?

Yes, I know how to tie a figure 8 retrace knot, belay from an ATC or similar device, and I am 14 or older.

• We will need you to demonstrate these skills and then you will be ready to climb.  There is no charge for this check.

No, and I don't want to learn right now.

• We teach anyone 14 or older how to use our auto-belays.
  
• You will be able to clip yourself and anyone under 14 into our 4 Auto-Belays.

No, but I would like to learn and I am 14 or older.

• You can schedule a time to come in and take our Intro to Climbing Class which will teach you how to belay.
• You must pre-schedule a time during the week or come to one of our scheduled times on the weekend.
• Cost $35 (includes harness, climbing shoes, belay device, and chalk bag)

No, and I would like more access than just the auto-belays.
