  • No food or drink on carpeted climbing surfaces.
  • All participants/spectators must register at the front desk and complete a Climb Iowa agreement. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • All participants/spectators under the age of 18 must have a Climb Iowa agreement signed by a parent or guardian appointed by the courts. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Climb Iowa’s gym orientation is required for all first time participants.
  • No one is allowed to enter the facility under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • All participants must adhere to the specific rules and regulations for Bouldering, Top-rope climbing, lead climbing, and use of the fitness equipment. Participants not following the rules will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
  • All children under the age of 14 must have a parent or guardian with them at all times unless the child is in a Climb Iowa instructional class.
  • All belayers must be at least 14 years or older or have approval from Climb Iowa’s head climbing coach.
  • Climbing on anything besides the designated climbing surface (i.e. ladders, building structure, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
  • Only UIAA-approved climbing harnesses, belay devices, and relevant climbing gear may be used at Climb Iowa.
  • Any unsafe action or flagrant disregard to these rules could result in the immediate loss of climbing privileges at Climb Iowa.
  • Please Notify staff immediately of any unsafe climbing practices in Climb Iowa.
  • NO RUNNING!
